Winter Faire
Winter Faire is a lovely tradition at Cragmont, an event for the whole community to celebrate winter traditions from various cultures here at home and around the world. The event has featured craft activities and seasonal potluck dishes from families including:
Crafts: Danish ornaments, Japanese winter origami, veggie dumplings for the New Year, beeswax candle-making
Themes: Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, British Traditions, St. Nicholas Day, Diwali Festival of Lights, Noel (French Christmas), Shab-e-Yalda (Persian Solstice), and New Year’s Day
We need volunteers to keep this heartwarming Cragmont tradition strong. Do you have a winter tradition or activity you can share? Please contact vpevents@cragmont.org if you’d like to participate.
Winter Coat & Supply Drive
During the Winter Faire, we will also hold our Winter Coat & Supply Drive. It's time to clean out your closets and support our students. Please donate gently used coats, rain boots/shoes, backpacks, or donate new underwear of all sizes, socks, packs of washcloths, toothbrushes and toothpaste, dental floss, wipes, and gift cards.
