We are having an appreciation drive for Cragmont teachers and staff!
All family members are encouraged to make notes or draw a picture and drop them in the envelope hanging on your classroom door. Please do not address them to a single person so that we can disperse these notes to any Cragmont teacher or staff and ensure that all of the Cragmont community gets an encouraging message. Download flier for more details, or read below.
You and your children are invited to create greeting cards for teachers and staff to lift their spirit up and bring a smile to their face. A simple card, picture, or painting made with pieces of paper, paint, crayons, glue, and scissors is all it takes!
Ongoing At-Home Community Opportunity
GUIDELINES
Cards should be handmade.
Exclude the date. Do not reference COVID, isolation, or quarantine – focus your letter on making the recipient feel good!
Get Creative! Recipients love it when their cards reflect the time and effort put into them. Make your cards colorful and fun.
Keep it simple, kind, & thoughtful. This is a one-way card exchange, so you will not receive a card back. Receiving nothing in return is part of the beauty of your act of kindness, and recipients aren’t burdened by feeling obligated or unable to respond.
Messages should apply to anyone and everyone. Avoid religion, politics, and all inappropriate language. Letters will be reviewed prior to delivery.
Create as many cards as you’d like!
Ready to participate? Deliver your card(s) to school and ask your child to place them in the manila envelope posted outside each classroom.
This card drive is sponsored by the Cragmont PTA. Questions? Email cragmontweb@gmail.com
